P4: Radio Broadcast

Radio Advert

For the radio advert, my product will be able to reach out to an audience when they commute, sit down etc, i.e. whenever they listen to radio. In my advert I have dialogue spoken by characters in the series in a montage of audio clips. I have my protagonist Matthew who introduces himself and gives a brief over view of the setting and the pivotal moment within the plot. I recorded other characters such as James, a reporter and a police man. This will give the audience a real sense of the true setting and the characters within the world. 

I used a voice recorder to record each sound effect and actor and transferred all the audio into Final Cut Pro. I then ordered the audio chronologically and added in sound effects and voice effects to enhance the recording. Over the top of the actors voices I used the song 'The Last Hangman' written by Hotel Lux, who's song is a trademark of the series used within the trailer as well. I downloaded from YouTube into an MP3 converter which allowed me to add the song to the audio which I. I lowered the volume of the song on speaking moment in order for actors to be heard. 

I as well used again my title logo on the top of the audio so when uploaded to YouTube, the audience wouldn't be looking at a blank screen. This also allowed my to further promote my series logo for audiences to remember.
