The series premiered on HBO in the United Staes on April 17th 2011. It' s seventh series ended August 27th 2017. The episodes are 60 minutes in length and on average usually contain 10 episodes in each series.
Game of Thrones has had multiple e directors to organise and film each of the seasons. David Nutter, Miguel Sapochnik, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. All these directors were hired by the production HBO. The series was broadcasted on the UK's NowTV and SkyAtlantic. It also aired in over 170 countries. The budget for the series as a whole has been estimated to around $10 million per episode.

The fourth series premiered on 15 November 2017; after the series finale broadcast on 20 December 2017, it was announced that the fifth series will be broadcast in 2019. Personal Identity - The audience can watch the characters and feel a sense of warmth to them if they have similar models of behaviour/values. For an audience member they can feel a reinforcement of personal values and get more of an insight into themselves
Audience Diversion - The intense and exciting feeling that the musketeers give an audience a sense of escapism because of how enjoyable the drama is to watch and how sucked in you can get. A programme like this however is not one to 'fill time'. For full enjoyment a viewer must dedicate time to watching the show to for it's full gain.
Audience Surveillance - Those interested in 16th century France and the story of the musketeers will be able to satisfy their curiosity from getting wider lens of life back then and the swash buckling story of the musketeers.
