We wanted to use this clip because of the wide shot that it captures. The colour is really lush and green which juxtaposes very nicely what's about to happen in the following scene. Leaving the light and safety, to the dark and a world of drugs. Running time - 6.32-6.36
I liked this clip of the party scene because of how it is raised above everyone in the room and we can see a lot of people's faces and expressions. The more we can see of people the better as we can show more of the scene.
This clip was very good to use because our camera man James Bowes managed to steady the camera while walking backwards very well. How James is actually holding the camera, we get a realistic walking movement and elates to how she stumbles down the hill. Running time 7.12-7.17
We wanted to use this clip in the film as it focusses very well on Ellena's face while blurring out the clothing which can still be identified. Despite moving the clothes past the camera, James managed to keep the camera focussed on her face very well. The overall clip works nicely as a shot in the film while she gets ready. Running Time 2.34-2.37
